Rise and Recline Ltd manufactures its own chairs to the specifications of the customer. Our chairs can be made as small as 15" in seat height through to a 3ft seat width. We manufacture many chairs ranging from fireside chairs to dual motor adjustable chairs in a multitude of fabrics and colours.

Manual
A mechanism that has a wall-hugging action recline. Manually operated by a handle, which can be either situated on the left or right hand side of the chair.

Lift Only
A mechanism that has a restricted motor that creates a lift only and not recline.

Recline Only
A mechanism that has a wall-hugger action recline and no lift. The motor is restricted to prevent lift.

Wall Hugger
A mechanism that lifts and reclines using 1 motor. This mechanism only requires 4-5” of clearance behind the chair to recline.

3 Way Single Motor
A single motor chair that operates the back and legrest together. This mechanism requires 12" - 15" behind the chair to recline.

Dual Motor
This is a mechanism that operates using 2 motors. One motor operates the footrest of the chair and the other motor operates the back. This means that the footrest and back are operated independently enabling foot up and back up positioning if required.

2 Way Tilt
The 2-way mechanism ensures a smooth movement going into recline and lift. The angle of the back and seat during these movements remain constant, hence this chair is ideal if you have a back problem and do not wish for the position of your back to change.

Static
A chair that is upholstered to match the Rise and Recline range of chairs. This chair has no moving parts and compliments settee's to create 3 piece suites.
